In addition to organic nitrogen, GRENA products are characterised by the percentage presence of macro-elements of organic origin, such as phosphorus (derived from animal by-products, particularly fish), Potassium and meso-elements such as Calcium (derived from egg shells), as well as micro-elements such as: Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Molybdenum, Copper and Boron, naturally present in mg/kg.
The base organic matrix contains amino acids, derived from protein hydrolysis. Amino acids are an excellent source of nourishment for soil flora, and their use therefore helps preserve the vitality of the micro-organisms living in the soil.
Its mode of action in the soil: nutrients are released gradually, as with nitrogen, whose release depends on the mineralisation of the organic matter, which is constant and gradual.
They do not add salinity that could cause problems for crops (especially vegetable crops such as lettuce or strawberries).
Moisture content is 7%, to obtain a good pellet product.
Most are also available in a micro version.
Fortnightly analysis and monitoring of incoming raw materials, together with autoclave cooking, guarantee the absence of antibiotics, weed seeds and pathogenic germs.
